I was pleasantly surprised to find that breakfast was available and had the option to add on lunch and dinner for an extra fee. There was even a little snack bar close by for a quick bite. The small lounging area in the backyard was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Despite being close to the highway, I was amazed that I didn't hear any noise while sleeping. The rooms and beds were clean, and the hostel provided all the necessary bedding. this place was super welcoming and a GREAT find, especially being so close to the Camino Portugues trail. Plus, it was only 3 km from the nearest city, making it a convenient location without being right in the hustle and bustle.

I had a great time at O Refuxio De La Jerezana in Redondela. The communal feel of the big common room and group dinner allowed me to meet other people on the Camino. The beautiful garden, hammocks, and outdoor lounge chairs provided the perfect place to relax. The beds were comfortable, and I appreciated the curtain for privacy. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

the escape from chaos was even better this time. lovely gardens, friendly staff, books to read, and even a chance to buy camino-related jewelry. a perfect place to relax and recharge.
